Lance has been involved in Youth Ministry since 2006. He got his start in local youth groups and SEARCH retreats. He worked in full time ministry for the Catholic churches and the Catholic School board in Medicine Hat, Alberta for three years. On August 6, 2011 he married his wife Katie.
In 2012, Lance decided to take his youth ministry experience to the next level and go back to school to pursue his Education degree and contribute to Catholic Education. In addition to his current university pursuits, Lance has completed the necessary coursework to obtain the Canadian Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies which is sponsored by the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer and the Western Canadian Association of Catholic Youth Ministers in association with the Center for Ministry Development.
He has also completed the Certificate in Catholic Studies: Faith Formation I from Newman Theological College. Lance is also the co-founder and contributor to PiousPosers ( www.piousposers.com ) which is a Catholic pseudo ministry/blog that has been featured on Catholicmom.com. He loves youth ministry, spending time with friends and family, and working on vehicles.
Lance has a passion for speaking to youth on matters of faith, podcasting, and online evangelization.
